There are a number of resources available on campus and online to help you make nutritious choices.

Columbia Resources

  • The Guide for Healthier Eating is a tool that has been developed through the collaboration of the Student Health Advisory Committee, Alice! Health Promotion, and Columbia Dining Services to provide more information regarding the food choices available to members of the Columbia University community. This guide can be used to make healthy food choices while on campus as well as at eateries that surround campus.
  • Nutrition Kiosk located in Ferris Booth Commons: access the Dining website via iPad, including menu widget, nutrition and food allergy information, & hours of operations.

  • The Mayo Clinic - A reliable source for basic health and nutrition information. Check out the "Food & Nutrition" section and "Healthy Recipes".

  • The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics - The largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, the main site offers consumers information on government policy, daily food habits, and dietetics as a career.
  • Vegetarian Resource Group - A highly-rated and reliable resource for anyone interested in vegetarian or vegan diets, with nutrition info, recipes, an online restaurant guide and an e-mail newsletter.
