This event is open only to Columbia Dining Plan Holders.
Battle of the Dining Halls is an epic food showdown between five Columbia Dining Halls: John Jay, JJ's Place, Ferris Booth Commons, Chef Mike's Sub Shop, and Faculty House. Each dining hall produces a signature dish based on the event theme for guests to sample.
The dishes are then presented to the judges, which includes a panel of students and a celebrity chef, who give live remarks and score each dish based on creativity, flavor, presentation, and more. The dining hall with the best score is crowned Judge's Choice, while event guests vote for the People's Choice. It's two hours of delicious fun and friendly competition.
Registration for this event will open on March 3.
