Vegan vs. Vegetarian: What's the Difference?

Many items can be both vegan and vegetarian, but there are a few distinct differences between the two. While vegetarians eat some animal products such as eggs, dairy, or even fish if pescatarian, vegans do not consume any items produced from an animal. Fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes are staples in both diets. Either way, both dietary lifestyles are a great way to become more plant-based!

While there are dedicated vegan stations in some dining halls, you can always find other vegan and vegetarian options, sides, and toppings at the other stations.

Add a vegan protein from the vegan station to pasta from the pasta bar, grains from the fusion station, or a salad from the salad bar.
