Columbia Dining welcomes Beyond Meat CEO and Business School Alum to JJ’s Place

Columbia Dining has a long standing commitment to providing a healthy and delicious variety of menu options — including plant-based foods — to its students. So when the line of Beyond Meat products first launched, it was a no-brainer to integrate into menu planning.

Over a decade later, Columbia Dining serves a variety of plant-based options products in all of its dining halls. So the team was thrilled to welcome Beyond Meat CEO and Columbia Business School alum Ethan Brown to JJ’s Place this week to sample recipes. The team has been working on new menu items using Beyond Steak and Beyond Chicken tenders. It was the perfect opportunity to meet Brown, try out new products, and show off our culinary team’s skills.

Following the visit, Brown headed up to the new Business School to meet students there. Columbia Dining hopes to host Brown and the Beyond Meat team on campus for another tasting and event in the fall.
