Breaking news! In response to improving COVID-19 rates across our community, the University has given Columbia Dining approval to open John Jay to non-Dining plan holders starting Monday, February 28. We will accept Dining Dollars, Flex, guest swipes and credit cards for payment.
How It Will Work

Show your vaccination card or another approved method (Excelsior Pass or NYC COVID Safe app) in compliance with the Key to NYC Executive Order. This will apply to everyone dining at John Jay, including Dining plan holders.

Tell the cashier if you want to pay by Dining Dollars, Flex, or credit card before tapping your card. They need to make a switch in our payment system to process the transaction.

Wear a mask until you are seated and eating.
Where else can I use my guest swipes?
A guest swipe can be used if you run out of weekly swipes, or if you’d like to dine-in and grab a meal to-go (i.e., use two swipes).
You can also treat a friend to the Chef Mike’s Sub Shop experience with a guest swipe! Guest swipes are accepted as a form of payment at that location.
