Statement on Recent Health Inspections
Food safety is a top priority at Ferris Booth Commons and Faculty House. Both dining locations currently maintain an “A” grade from the NYC Department of Health (DOH), as do our other locations. Following inspections on September 9 and 14, we have addressed and remedied all cited violations, many of which were related to general maintenance and cleaning.
We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and service for our plan holders.
Our staff follow rigorous food safety protocols and participate in regular trainings to reinforce procedures. Managers conduct daily sanitation walk throughs at each location to ensure practices are in place. We work with an independent sanitation consultant, who conducts monthly unannounced inspections to ensure all our operations comply with DOH requirements.
We recognize that students place their trust in us every day, and we take that responsibility seriously. These findings do not reflect the quality of the food we serve or the commitment and care our staff bring to their work each day. Our goal is to meet the highest standards at all times. We recommit to these standards for our plan holders. Should any student have a question or concern, please contact our team at [email protected].
