Thomas Gannon

Thomas Gannon joined the Dining team at John Jay Dining Hall in September 2023. Prior to Columbia, he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and later made his way to New York to cook. Thomas has over a decade of cooking and chef experience in NYC restaurants, from the most intimate steakhouse to the rowdiest hotel rooftop taco bar. He has developed an empathetic and approachable style of leadership and takes pride in teaching others while learning from them, too. His favorite food is pizza. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and exploring the city's food scene with his girlfriend.
