Fall 2026 Operating Hours

Fall hours and the Barnard Exchange begin on Tuesday, September 8. Modified hours for Labor Day are effective September 4-7.

Not sure you've selected the right Dining Plan for you? From September 8 - September 22, students are invited to change their Dining Plan.

Columbia Dining is working with its food suppliers to closely monitor domestic cases of cyclosporiasis. Food safety is a critical priority for our team. Based on initial information from the FDA, we can confirm that our food supplier does not purchase from the vendors identified in the current investigation. 

Starting on Sunday, August 30, Columbia Dining will offer meal service to new students and students supporting NSOP programming.

Dining service will operate on a modified schedule over the Labor Day holiday from Friday, September 4 - Monday, September 7. Fall operating hours and the Barnard Exchange will begin on Tuesday, September 8.

Dining is open over break for our fam who plan to stay on campus. Locations may have modified hours between Tuesday, November 25 and Sunday, November 30. All residential and retail units will resume normal operating hours on December 1.

Running low on meal swipes? Columbia University and Teachers College students currently on a Dining Plan may purchase an end of the semester 50 meal pack add-on. Read more details and sign up if needed.

Dining is open over fall break for our fam who plan to stay on campus. Locations may have modified hours between Thursday, October 30 and Tuesday, November 4. All residential and retail units will resume normal operating hours on November 5.
